Air Force 1 ’07 LV8 “Paint Splitter”
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Paint Splatter” is one of two colorways of the retro basketball and lifestyle shoe to feature an array of colorful paint splatters on their design. The multicolor, dripping paint splatters found throughout the shoe’s upper mimic the look of a shoe that appears as if it were worn on the feet of an artist during a studio session. Dashes of blue, red, yellow, and black paint drips can be found on the white leather base, including on the perforated toe and mid-panel and on the Sail leather Swoosh on both sides. Additional paint details highlight the look of the laces layered over the white nylon tongue. Nike goes as far as to construct its signature “Nike” logo in a paint splatter design on the white nylon tongue tag. Additional paint graphics appear on the heel tab around the black “Nike Air” insignia. The Sail rubber midsole features speckle detailing as a continuation of the model’s “Paint Splatter” theme.
