The premise was simple, exploring 10 classic silhouettes from Nike through two distinct themes – ‘Revealing’ focusing on hand-cut and reconstructed builds, and ‘Ghosting’ characterised by translucent uppers. The Off-White x Air Presto OG is developed for the former. Released in September 2017 Virgil Abloh looked to industrial and contemporary design element to give the Air Presto its most eye-catching transformation to date. Unlike the conventional neoprene crafted silhouettes, this shoe arrives with laser cut mesh and a chunky, padded tongue. It continues to follow the “T-Shirt for your feet” mantra and promises that foot-hugging comfort which is both breathable and lightweight. If you are a fan of the original, this reinvention is one that will definitely not disappoint, offering you the comfort you expect from a Presto, with an exciting new aesthetic.
